It’s an activity that can take hours and involves tasting at least one of each batch of cookies as soon as they come out of the oven.
But that’s not the only way to produce a seasonal sweet treat. This chocolate chip cookie dough is ready in minutes with minimal mess. There is no need to light the oven.
And best of all, it’s packed with protein. Cottage cheese is your superpower when it comes to enjoying a protein-rich dessert. Although some prefer it, it owes its immense popularity to its versatility.
You can use cottage cheese in all kinds of different recipes. (Trust us, we’ve written a few!) And that includes countless desserts, but this delicious protein-packed cookie dough might be our favorite.

Cheesecake cookie dough
Servings: 4
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 scoop of protein powder
- ⅔ cup almond flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
Directions:
- In a food processor, combine the cottage cheese, maple syrup, protein powder, almond flour and vanilla extract.
- Process until smooth.
- Remove the mixture from the processor and place it in a bowl.
- Stir in the chocolate chips and dig in!
