5 tips to stay on course with your goals

While we start Week 4 of our Spring Slim Down, it is important to stay motivated and focused on your goals, so that you do not get or give up from the circuit! Summer is around the corner, so let’s stay consistent!

5 tips to help you stay on the right track and motivated:

1. Check goals in

If you have made goals for yourself at the start of SSD, let them look again and make sure you stay focused on achieving it! You can always update this to best match your wishes and needs, but stay there.

Whether it is about losing a certain amount of weight or improving your endurance, make sure your goals are realistic and feasible within the time frame of the rest of the challenge.

2. Stay consistent

Consistency is the key when it comes to seeing results. Make sure you adhere to your training schedule and meal plan, even on days when you don’t feel like it. Remember that every small effort adds to great progress in the long term.

Summer is around the corner and you will thank yourself for moving your body, even if you don’t want that if you are on a beach on a stropic beach;)

3. Check in Accountability Group -in -check

Having a support system can make a world of difference during a fitness challenge. Whether it is a training buddy, a friend who shares your goals, or your SSD Accountability Group, make sure you check in with it, because we are halfway through Spring Slim Down!

If you have not submitted your group for an opportunity to win our giveaway at the end of SSD, make sure Serve here!

4. Mix your training sessions

Keep things interesting by trying different types of training in our Move App During the challenge. This not only prevents boredom, but also helps to focus different muscle groups and prevent plateaus. From cardio to strength training to yoga, mix it to challenge your body.

5. Four small victories

Don’t forget to celebrate your progress en route. Whether it is a new personal record in your training streak, sticking to your meal plan for a week, or you just feel more energetic, take the time to recognize and celebrate your small victories. This helps you to keep your ultimate goal motivated and focused.

Don’t forget that the Spring Slim Down is a journey, not a sprint. Stay focused, stay positive, and especially, don’t give up. You have this!
